Were you there at WCEU 2024? I was!

Torino, Italy, was absolutely incredible. I traveled all the way from India, where halfway through, I bumped into Colin from FooEvents. I even lost a friendly bet to him, but it made the trip even more fun!

More on WCEU after sharing the latest product and company updates. They’re equally (or more) interesting, I promise. 😃

1 Million Staging Sites on InstaWP

Rest assured, you heard correctly — InstaWP has powered 1 million staging sites to date. It’s like users building 2 staging sites per minute for one year. Something that was impossible without your hard work! 😃

This achievement underscores the trust and confidence you place in InstaWP for seamless website management and staging capabilities. And we would like to say a big THANK YOU on this amazing day.

Oh, on a side note, our YouTube channel recently crossed 100k views!

Product Updates

#1 – Import Site from a Duplicator Backup

After adding import support or WordPress Playground and UpdraftPlus backups, InstaWP now lets you effortlessly import WordPress websites from your Duplicator backups. (Yes, we can hear what you say 😉)

Have a backup file (up to 512 MB)? Just go to Staging, click Import Site, follow a few steps, and you’ll be up and running in no time.

#2 – Execute Commands against InstaWP Live Sites

Previously, you could only save commands and execute them for your staging sites. However, commands will now also work for your sites hosted with InstaWP Live.

How? Well, find the Commands tab on your dashboard for any hosted site, and you will know. So, run errands faster than ever (without leaving your InstaWP dashboard), and let us know how it feels!

#3 – A Brand-New Referral Program UI

Go to your Profile > Referral Program (or just click here) and have a look. We have streamlined the interface to simplify earning rewards like never before!

With the new UI, you can easily manage available credits, track friends’ unutilized credits, and download various referral badges in one place.

It also has a section to monitor detailed stats, including clicks, sign-ups, and subscriptions—all designed to elevate your referral experience.

It includes an invitation link, the option to copy it, available credits displayed as $0, "Your Friends Unutilized Credits" also showing $0, an option to download a referral badge, and referral statistics displaying zero clicks, zero signed up, zero subscribed, an outstanding balance of $0, and earnings of $0 both by the user and their friends.

#4 – Option to Test WordPress Beta Versions

Now, while creating a staging site from scratch, you can choose your WordPress version as Beta for agile development and seamless testing experiences.

We hope it will allow you to swiftly test with the latest WordPress versions, empowering rapid experimentation and feedback gathering.

Note – The above highlights only scratch the surface of our latest product updates! With over 20 additional enhancements, such as significant API functionality improvements and the introduction of a preview feature for WaaS Demo templates, there’s much more to discover.

Our Trip to WCEU

Yes, back to point zero.

Okay, first of all, I admit it was just me this time. 🤫

The event itself was a whirlwind of engaging discussions and enthusiastic feedback about InstaWP. The anticipation for our upcoming AnyOneCanWP hackathon event was palpable, with agencies and partners showing tremendous interest. I’m genuinely excited to see how this unfolds.

Oh, and how could I forget? My encounters with WordPress professionals like Varun, Tarun, Ajit, and Aaryamaan were highlights. Our late-night explorations of the city not only created unforgettable memories but also fostered some fantastic connections. 😀

It was also inspiring to witness companies like ModularDS, Ploogins, FigmaToWP, Pressidium, Dynamic.ooo, and Equalize Digital pushing boundaries in the WordPress ecosystem. Their innovation is setting the stage for where WordPress is headed next.
